At Haron Consulting, we pay tribute to the remarkable legacy of our visionary founder, Yousef Al-Hashmi. Born in Dubai in 1959, his life was a testament to his unique blend of resilience, ambition and a deep commitment to fostering international connections.

A Journey of Determination and Excellence

Al-Hashmi’s early life was shaped by his parents’ unwavering belief in his potential. They recognised the need for broader horizons, so they sent him to Aiglon College, an international boarding school in Switzerland, in the early 1970s, where he completed secondary school. This decision marked the beginning of his journey towards excellence.

At Aiglon, he thrived, embracing the rigorous academic environment and multicultural setting. His exceptional performance, driven by his resilience and ambition, earned him a full scholarship to the University of Basel, where he pursued a business degree. It was here that Al-Hashmi’s passion for finance and business truly blossomed.

Building a Stellar Career

After graduating, he entered the financial sector, where his talents quickly became evident as a financial consultant. His role at the First Gulf Bank was particularly transformative. Here, he honed his skills, developed a profound understanding of the industry and built a reputation for his unwavering work ethic and strategic insight. These experiences laid the groundwork for his future endeavours and shaped his vision for what would become Haron Consulting.

Founding Haron Consulting

In 2021, driven by a desire to bridge the worlds of Switzerland and the UAE, Yousef Al-Hashmi founded Haron Consulting. His visionary leadership and innovative solutions quickly propelled the company to success. He envisioned a boutique consulting firm that would foster sustainable and bilateral growth, a vision that continues to guide us today. His deep understanding of both cultures and markets allowed him to create a company that seamlessly blends Swiss precision with Emirati dynamism. Under his leadership, Haron Consulting quickly became synonymous with excellence and innovation.
